The RETREAT a 180 years’ old wooden house called “THARAVADU” built in the ancient architectural style of Kerala and preserved in the original form. It’s ideal for writers, artists, yoga enthusiasts, solitude lovers, and people interested in enjoying vacation ina rich library with books on spirituality, philosophy, science, technology, religion, fiction and so on. It has five bedrooms and one big lounge, with panoramic river view.
The main attraction is a traditional ‘NILAVARA’ (Crawl Space), ‘ARA’ (Auspicious Place) and ‘THATTUMPURAM’ (Attic). Modern facilities are provided in each room and a well equipped kitchen is available for self cooking.
